Baby Crib Plus Toddler Bed Equals Toddler Crib
The baby you so confidently left sleeping safely inside the crib will grow into a toddler that will have strong enough muscles and will power to try and climb out of the crib. The worst thing is that they do this daring stunt when you are not around! Most will be successful in reaching the top, the problem lies, or climbs out, from that point on. How will the baby climb down? Most will not be reaching the ground safely as they would likely fall. The seemingly simple answer is to start letting your baby sleep in a toddler bed where your baby can easily climb out without the risk of cracking his skull open. Assessing the situation, the danger does not end when you have solved the safely climbing out problem. There are countless things around your house that will be hazardous to roaming toddlers. My solution to the dilemma? A good quality baby crib that can easily be made into a toddler crib!
The In-Between
If you think that getting over the sleepless nights when your baby was born was the end of an awkward and tiring phase in relation to your baby’s sleeping issues, you are wrong. Forcing the toddler to sleep in a bed of his own might be bad for his fragile and still developing personality. Let him take his time and let him sleep in a toddler crib. Luckily, I did not need to spend much for the transitional sleeping equipment. I found this crib that has adjustable mattress levels from shallow, sufficient for newborns, to the middle level for crawlers and until the full depth of the crib for standing toddlers. My baby has been sleeping on the same baby crib, adjusted to become his toddler crib, from the day he was brought home to the time he was mature enough to sleep in a bed.
